How to WASH OFF Face Paint
Here are instructions for how to wash off your design so that it does not leave a stain. It is a natural tendency to go straight for the water and scrub but actually those two things are what cause this type of water-activated face paint to stain.
STEP 1: Do not put water on the design.
Put a generous amount of tear free baby wash (or other soap safe for the face) in your DRY hands and lather to create a thick paste. Be gentle, use the soft pads of your fingers and work it in.
STEP 2: Apply paste directly to the design and gently rub to “mess up” entire design.
STEP 3: Using a dark colored washcloth and warm water, gently wipe off the design.
Do not scrub or it will push paint further into the pores. If a slight stain remains, apply moisturizer and repeat process.
